I agree, I went for higher quality just for the durability of the furniture as well as increasing revenue due to a little more luxurious level of stay.

I'd go for durability over inexpensive.As most mentioned, LVP.But you might consider EVP (engineered vinyl planks) for extra durability.

For a rental you want durability if you choose to put a hanger bar in that closet, so forget about the tension rod.

Personally I'm moving away from carpet to more durable flooring like vinyl plank.

The kitchens currently have a cheap linoleum that may be usable but will probably be replaced, and the bathrooms have tile which can be patched in the necessary spots.Has anyone found a durable and affordable carpet at Home Depot, Lowe's, or another home improvement store that you swear by for all your rentals?

One of the people I got an estimate from said I should go with 5 mm or above for a rental because it is more durable.

Worth the cost for durability of laminate flooring- or do you go with carpet?
