I've never had a mentor but I have joined some cheap online masterminds, asked Facebook groups, etc.

Hello @Jacob Allen,I used to host a monthly meet-up/mastermind on the NE side of Atlanta.

I would start by reading books about multifamily and commercial real estate, go to meetups in the Ft Collins area, and once you feel a bit more comfortable I would join a mastermind group!

You need to find several of each of these types of buyers and learn what they are looking for.Best way to find cash buyers is networking at local REI meetups, masterminds, Facebook groups, Realtors, title companies, closing attorneys, property management companies, auctions, Craigslist, and bandit signs.You can search real estate transactions in your tax database.

The BP mastermind group is great, but i am the only person interacting in that group so we aren't getting anywhere.

Does anyone know of any REIAs or mastermind meetings in that market?
