That strategy takes a long time in my part of America. 

I think that what David is trying to say, is it is better to have a college degree because it gives you more opportunities, but more than that it gives you connections, and in America you do not have to have an education to be successful.  

And there is less hope in Baltimore communities today than there was 200 years ago when the Underground Railroad welcomed more freed slaves to Baltimore than any other city in America.

Where in Latin America are you thinking and why?

As an example, a home in Hartford that is appraised at $215,000 will pay have the same amount in taxes as a home valued in Greenwich, Conn. for $1.43M (which is one of the richest towns in America: http://time.com/10537/richest-neighborhoods-in-ame...).

I started my own business 25 years ago after being in corporate America.

However I'm still in secondary school which would be the equivalent of high school in America.

As we often say here in the office, we're "Renovating America" and making our surroundings a more appealing place to be.
