I realized I needed to learn more about money, so I read Rich Dad Poor Dad.

House gets foreclosed on when a borrower is not paying its debt obligations - typically its mortgage.buying foreclosures is not for the faint of heart as you have no idea of the interior of these properties lastly while it can be beneficial also realize if there are a lot in an area those homes are the new comps when trying to sell so it lowers home values in an area 

Take a step back and realize that you’ve done more than 99% will ever do when it comes to real estate. 

But from what I have seen it has a lot of useful accounting tools that should make my life significantly easier, and ultimately that's what my intent is.

Good points.I'd add square, level, plumb - license, insurance, bond - using permits to follow codepointing out problems the owner doesn't realize they have that are serious.

It always cracks me up when someone hands me a business card that says "President and CEO" and they don't realize how ridiculous that looks.
