We’re fine with them flushing toilet paper, of course, but tampons/shop wipes, etc. was not meant to be flushed and can damage our septic system according to the plumber.How would you handle this?

For "black water" (waste from the toilet) we actually use a compost toilet so by the time it's full, the contents inside has been composted to be used in the soil.

I will need to pay out of pocket for visible items like paint, the shower, toilet, vanity, kitchen cabinets, wardrobe, and so on.
