I did 28 sessions of radiation and chemotherapy before surgery in hopes of shrinking the tumor to save my sphincter muscles from the tumor, so after all that and 6 weeks of healing I went to meet the specialist for colorectal surgery, he looked at all the tests and scans that was performed before and after treatments, he gave me two options( option 1 was a permanent colostomy which I said I'm not in favor of, what's option 2 i said?

I agree, time heals most mistakes or oversights.

They have taken over for an ailing owner. 

Smoking is very negative to the healing process (blood circulation, clotting etc) and if this lady is older, her immune system while smoking will be significantly impacted...she'll be inside longer to recover even during the warm times...Look at your business and focus there.  

Everyone said run away but I had a gut feeling that she was good and I wanted to do a good thing for her since I had recently divorced and had "healed" in the house I was renting.

They were written to control or eliminate opportunity for those that practice screwing the consumer and to encourage people to do business with financially well healed contractors rather than do business with contractors that operate being under capitalized which again creates motive and opportunity for a consumer to expose themselves to higher risks.Now is it better for me as a contractor to make things more convenient for me  so I can operate more economically and efficiently while reducing my risks by making sure I get paid every step of the way and my time is used more effectively for me, of course.

Only time will heal that.  

They had loaned the original down-payment to the owner so it felt good to be able to get that back to them and I believe it helped heal their relationship What was the outcome?

I have had a couple of surgeries and will be healing for a while.
