I also carry a Benchmade folding knife with a 3 1/2" blade and yes, as someone mentioned - the cellphone and a good flashlight are very much a necessity.I also have had martial arts training - which I sincerely recommend to every land lord even if you have an aversion to guns.As to why the Glock - I actually settled on the Glock 30 after having an e-mail conversation with Massad Ayoob (you can google his name).

He was even able to show me a photo of where they had found the HUD plate.So after scouring the home for hours, crawling through a crawlspace for hours with a flash light looking for a VIN number, I finally went out to the home, pulled some siding and insulation off of the side and found the HUD plate almost immediately, thanks to my fellow BPer's identical experience!

Brent,The 6.3% of sellers is a hard target I agree, but that 6.3% of sellers becomes brighter when figuring out if the seller is an owner, or if it’s a short sale, most likely banks will give it up for a lower price because of that, as well as an owner may be lenient because of personal circumstances.

You have very little natural lighting, so you should try to add additional lighting.To make it lighter and brighter, change the lighting something that has more bulbs and bulbs with higher wattage (ex. 100w).

Cut out the bottom 4' (1 sheet width), strip out insulation and check with flashlight.
