If you fail to do so and the insurer's ability to defend you is adversely impacted, your coverage may be affected.

Provide an honest and fair review that you can defend.  

And it's not just the direct tech cost itself, it's also cost's to manage and maintain them, than to defend because as tech increases capability it does same for nefarious element (ie hackers).

Bring an action or defend your business in court.

If the PM wants to waste their resource defending evicting a tenant that paid on time for not paying, I am fine with that.
