I'm looking for the same things as you also, trying to find a reputable PM and broaden my financing options. 

The more you network or go to events where people have very similar goals as yourself will allow you to broaden your understanding of what you can do, and maybe also help you decide what you want to do, because this isn't for everyone.

Great thread, another strategy to consider is broadening your search criteria when the lickings are slim.

Broaden your portfolio when the market is low get a section 8 tenant in at market rent and hold the property and sell at a high when the market is back or hold and collect your rent!!

You will need to broaden your search area to maybe an hour away from Portland.

@Sienna Parker1) Invest in yourself (gaining skills, broadening your network etc) such that you can take on more responsibilities and double and triple your pay over X years 2) I personally love retirement accounts and you have a terrific company match.

There's a lot of older homes that need rehab here in OKC, so if you're interested in doing rehabs that would help broaden your scope. 

The more we're learning, we're able to broaden our search and dollars to invest (as long as the numbers make sense. )
