I'm working on a hobby app which collects Yelp data about various business categories (coffee houses, yoga studios, etc.) and uses deep learning to try and predict gentrification in various zip codes throughout the US. 

The best solution would be yoga/meditation to break all your barriers.

I look at Yelp for yoga studios, vegan restaurants, cafes.  

or yoga, art studios, high end coffee shops etc & population increasing it could be an opportunity. 

In 3-5 years, I want to take 6 months off work to pursue my other interests: 1) getting my yoga cert and 2) starting my own e-comm business.

There would be a la carte services like weekly cleaning, yoga sessions, 24/7 grab-and-go or sit-down brunch, co-working space, & partnerships with restaurants/bars/activity-based businesses in Houston.Putting together a Board of Directors so we will have advisors that have experience in the hotel/hostel/apartment industries, and the Board of Directors will get a percentage of the company.

I like simple and clean lines, this is NOT.Then there are some yoga meditation rooms (which have to be totally demolished due to city violations), but in them are several of these ductless mini split AC units. 

Maybe they will but I haven't seen any independent coffee shops, yoga studios etc opening in those areas, not one, so you may have a long haul unless you open one yourself (which I always thought might be an interesting real estate value add strategy).

I'd be doing that and bringing in yoga instructors...then just sit back and watch.
