  Being a local to Hurricane and now St George and working in Springdale all through high school and college I know the area very very well.

There are two different schools of thought on this.

We are particularly interested in areas allowing a great lifestyle (good food, spending heaps of time outside, close to the beach, quick and easy access to great cities, etc) such as California, South West of France, Barcelona, etc...We currently own a 2 bedroom apartment (paid cash) close to the beach and the main English schools in Malta.

There's often only 2 or 3 companies that handle all PM near the school - & if they suck, you don't have much recourse.

@Jason Mauldin As someone who has been fined for painting a cars in my parents' garage in high school, I can tell you this is not something you want to get involved in. 

Then theres the old school way, talking to people IN PERSON about what you're doing.

I just got out of the navy and I'm going back to school.
