It's the number of bathrooms with toilets and showers.So we bought 2 houses on the same block, a 2 story and a 3 story.  15 real beds, 2 sofa beds, 6 bathrooms with showers and toilets, 4 washers, 5 dryers, 4 full refrigerators, 2 dorm fridges, 2 poker tables, 1 kegerator, 13 cable televisions, you get the idea.The above 2 houses rent out, but not that often.

I have no issues finding renters with standard appliances so no need to pay extra for "image".Items like fridges with ice makers do not close the deal they only introduce additional items for landlords to repair driving up maintenance costs.

The new cabinets will go up to the ceiling, so the backsplash will go from the right of the fridge to all the way around.

If I put it left of the stove, I'll lose one of two large drawers in a kitchen with limited storage...if I cut out that weird angled cabinet to the very left, it won't leave room for the fridge.

Standardise the size of your appliances, avoid all bells and whistles and simply have a spare stove, fridge, washer, dryer etc. available to do a switch.
