I've seen some of that too in our area but it's the listing prices that have changed, not the sales prices. ie, sellers are taking a shot at the moon to see what happens but prices are still considerably higher now than they were 6 months ago.

The area I live in is on the up and coming and property prices have shot up over the last year. the median home price is at the least 500k.
