i just got a mailing list of 470 people in my area all about an hour away or closer .does it matter if i send a yellow letter or a postcard?

I send post-cards and letters to the following list: expired listings, absentee owners, free and clear, and probate.

Letterhead, envelopes, labels, postcards, index cards, etc. 9.

- Can anyone please point me to sample postcards or letters targetted towards private lenders?

The ones I've researched all claim to have a good pass rate but I'm hoping to get first hand accounts.My other question being that I am trying to wholesale right now, how will having a license affect my marketing, ie bandit signs, post cards, letters.

I started my direct mail campaign on 4 Jan 12, by sending out 366 postcards to Absentee Owners.

Post cards are cheaper, but yellow letters wouldn't break your budget.

I then follow up with a post card 30 days, 2nd post card 30 days, letter 60 days then my plan is every 3 months for a year.

I send out a "scout" postcard to a new list and use the returns to purge the mailing list.
