Everett/Marysville/Lake Steven the assumption is a solid blue color area, so not high end finishes, but something durable but nice. 

Try to remember that you aren't living there so the taste should be neutral and the finishes durable.  

If done right, it should be durable.

And it's MUCH more durable than those laminate tops.
