I would avoid going to such a meeting because the whole point of it is the sharing that goes on, and it seems these organizers have not mastered that yet...

I attended one meeting last year but it was organized by some other REIA forum... can't recall the name but it was at a Davanni's.

If you are organized, present yourself in a professional way, and speak intelligently (i.e. you understand how the HELOC works amongst other forms of bank financing), someone will take you seriously.

@Paul Baghis, unless you attained additional equity without paying for it, then there's no real magic to getting Lenders to give you 100% Loan-to-purchase. ie.
