I'd argue that there are very select zip codes where this strategy works.

If you're comfortable living where you are, equity in your current property or your savings rate would be the two other ways to get your next one which is going to be much slower.

We've seen cases for example where clients want to send their brother or cousin to do electrical work that they aren't licensed for.What I don't think would work is to have a ticket come in, and then reach out to a client so they can shop around for plumbers.

We have a PMA, but it doesn't  seem to address these things in a way that is specific enough to where they're violating the agreement.

I have done it with some contractors taking Paypal where you can use a credit card on that site with a fee, or QuickBooks is another one too.
