I figured if I was going to handwrite 183 letters it would at least take me at least 5 mins to write and address and stamp the letters. 183 letters x 5 mins = 915 minutes. 915 mins / 60 mins = 15 hours.

I asker her why she didn't put a 49 cent stamp an an envelope and she said she had an annual bus pass, wanted to save the 49 cents and while on the bus it gave her a chance to read real estate books.Here is my point.

Any other way would be fraudulent permit stamping is illegal but not enforced here. longstory short your contractor should be the ones pulling the permit.

The third party costs are about the same, title, hazard, transfer taxes and doc stamps, you may save a few hundred with a hard money guy that goes with a BPO vs an appraisal.

@Tommy Nastasi you really need to consult a licensed structural engineer for something like this, as an incorrectly designed / sized solution could result in the catastrophic failure of the roof system and potentially kill someone.Also, if load bearing walls are being removed this work should be permitted, and the building department should require stamped drawings from an engineer for this.
