If you can listen to the bp podcasts religiously, then you will be on the right path.

It is my belief that FHA is not as good for BRRRR as F/F, but this is based only on what I have read because I have never used an FHA loan. 

Yes @Jay Hinrichs, I do agree that many landlords can work through the obstacles and that Portland has a serious homeless debacle, but what is changing for me is the belief that these obstacles are worth the hassle. 

To this day, my belief is if you want to be a real estate investor to make money, you will likely fail.

Housing owned by private clubs or religious organizations that restrict occupancy in housing units to their members.Second item covering their protections: the law states that the landlord needs to make "reasonable accommodations".I already own 2 small dogs, which puts me at the limit for animals allowed under my HOA.
