Advice for senior looking into real estate

Any advice for a 17 year old I’m in my senior year of high school I’m looking to start investing in real estate once I turn 18(in July) I’ve been doing lots of research I’m located in Detroit I’m currently bird dogging (looking to wholesale when I turn 18) but it’s not really affective so I’m just looking for advice or someone I can talk to about real estate and just business in general because I don’t know anybody personally that is in real estate
