I am very fortunate to have a wife that brings in active duty income and benefits, so during the time being, I have decided to pursue REI full time.  

I really just want to see all the pros in action for one or 2 auctions.

I'd put some money into the stock market, some in active and some in passive real estate investments.

Ok @Steve Castagnetta, I am pretty sure you got caught up in the fake listing wipe that has been going on for a few months.There is nothing in the terms of service I can find that talks about inactive accounts.Was the account snoozed (or whatever they call it)?

@Patrick Liska It sounds your plan is in action and is working well for you.  

While one or two contracts may not be enough to constitute doing business, owning a lot of properties in Pennsylvania may result in the entity engaging in activities that can constitute doing business. 

My husband and I are about to take our RE Salesperson Exam, and one of us will choose a brokerage to hang our license while the other remains inactive.

@Ryan Swan I don't at the moment - it's been hanging inactive since I got it, though I am currently interviewing RE teams so hopefully will be able to soon and I'll get to play around with the searches. 

., I'm not manufacturing dynamite in my basement).In my opinion, unless you are engaging in activities that attract unusually high sources of legal liability you should be able to acquire more than enough liability insurance to cover yourself at much less cost and effort than what it takes to establish proper entity vehicles.
