You did your due diligence and everything else was acceptable to you?

What one person finds nice might be horrible for someone else and vice versa.

Has anyone else run into anything equivalent?

The tenants have skin in the game so wont mess up (e.g., not pay rent).I'm sure you'll get it rented soon; but just wanted to share an outside-the-box option that was successful for me.

I know most residential lenders won't lend to an LLC so my question is should I just house hack the way anyone else would, using my own personal financial status and name, my own funds for the downpayment, and put the multifamily entity and principles aside for now.

We do have a meeting with a local broker/real estate agent next week but thought it would be best to jump on line and take a look at some local properties and if nothing else practice our valuation process.

I am sure there are qualified people to train you, but I would warn you to have anything Pace Morby or anyone else teaches reviewed by your attorney.  

With buying a house hack - you quickly learn what ownership is, how to manage current tenants and pre-vet new tenants, how while you're owning the property - you're investing in yourself and not someone else's own property by just paying the landlord rent.What's fun about this game is it really does not matter how old you are when you're getting started.

If you do sell, would you house hack or do something else?
