I realized that working insane hours and traveling all the time for work would hurt my family too much. 

I don't like the idea of closing off the LR/kitchen doorway altogether because it makes traveling from kitchen to front door a long path.

I graduated college in May 2017 with a B.A. in English, and since then I've been traveling the country and world while making a living as a freelance writer and editor. 

Slowed down for me as I transitioned from sales to working Remote and moving into our first home together (no not a house hack), which provided me the ability to be with my wife and future family more regularly than traveling the Western 13 states for the past two years.

I’d definitely be willing to look in Nashville, as I have family there and travel back a couple of times a year.
