I had to do a lot of self study and research and it gave me a good overview about all areas of REI.

In addition, attend REIA meetings and study.

I’ve been studying up the last 9 months and glued to the BiggerPockets podcast.

Before you do anything sit down and study/learn all your state landlord tenant regulations or get a meeting lined up with a experienced landlord tenant attorney.

Study what is popular in that area. 

If I ever get big, I would like to pass on my knowledge to others as I go on and that's what I think it's nice to be in a community.I'm going to be studying for the real estate licensure sooner after I finish summer semester. 

I moved here a couple of years ago and have been studying the market ever since I moved, but this past year (especially the past few months) I've been really researching real estate investing and I'm ready to get started!

That is the fun part to study and teach. 

He also has been instrumental is getting my cost segregation study started and answers emails within hours not days like the last guy. 

I think for now I am just going to keep studying and saving for the first purchase maybe at the end of the year or beginning of next or whenever I find a good deal.
