So I am rehabbing some of my units in my apartment building.I am using 5 gallon off white for cost flat to get them painted using a sprayer.The painter mentioned that for the bathroom and the kitchen to use a semi-gloss.The reason being in the bathroom the semi-gloss instead of the flat paint won't absorb moisture into the wall.With the kitchen the walls would be easier to clean for grease etc.I guess it made sense to me since I remember from my cars if the paint was flat anything that stuck was really hard to get off but if you had the gloss coating nothing got in and was easy to get off.I can still get semi-gloss 5 gallon for cheap.Just getting input form the paint experts.He is starting tomorrow.I am getting a smoking deal at 70 bucks labor per unit to paint 1,200 sq ft.He doesn't have any work right now and needs the money and is a professional contractor painter.He says he can clear one a day.

I will give a recent example - I needed one gallon of 200 eggshell for a bathroom in my own home.

We got this house for 2 friggin gallons of milk. $10 dollars.

Or I might buy things that can't be easily separated (like a tool I'll use at multiple properties or a 5 gallon can of paint that is used on the interior walls of all of the properties). 

I'm getting an 80-gallon heater installed next week.

@Amanda SokolBuy some weedkiller glyphosate concentrate for $22 a gallon and a gallon sprayer for $10 and all your poison ivy problems go away in two years of consistently spraying it whenever it crops up.

- i have to change the kitchen/landing tiles since they discontinued the one that i was using now i use  this kitchen tile- i pay around $1200 for paint labor. paint costs me around $500 materials- basement floor is painted gray - SW concrete and porch enamel - around $35 per gallon. but you have to prep/clean well- we try to use this vanity but if the current one is good, we just paint them black so it looks modern- change door handles, keep doors if we can- cheap mini blinds- bahia granite Wilsonart laminate counter - custom made - ~$500 per house- my floor guy charges $2 per ft. stain is 50 cents extra- my concrete guy is around $4.5 per foot- the dishwasher is any around $300- chef maid (i think) microwave- $99 SS sink or if current one is good, we keep it- delta faucets for both bath and kitchen ($39 & $54 respectively) any other questions, let me know..
