If you want something more durable, get the thicker blinds (heavy plastic slats) not the cheap aluminum ones.

Aluminum wire has been the cause of fires, and may require special steps to reduce the risk.A local vendor producing plastic pipe years ago bought defective material that had been misrepresented.

Even with aluminum wiring most people I know just work with it rather than rip all of it out.

Need the exterior to be painted (1 coat of prime, and 2 coats of paint), and then white standard aluminum gutters.
