A general rule of thumb for most is to report any emails/messages with seemingly suspicious links and drop them in your spam folder.

It is also possible, and I say this with all due respect, that a licensed agent operating in that area has a better idea of what is "reality" and what is "fantasy" than you do.I hardly think you can blame a homeowner for being suspicious of an offer a half-million dollars below what an agent is willing to list it at.
