I'm sure we're all making some new years resolutions and potentially planning to scale our portfolios in the coming few years.

Making decisions based on the possibility that the tenant might not pay rent won't lead to any resolution.

Also their fend lies over onto my property and I've written formal letters asking them to mice it ir call me for a resolution.

Does anyone have a resolution or any more feedback on this issue?

Notification and Dispute Resolution: Annually, assessors must notify owners of short-term rental units of the number of days their property was leased for short-term stays.

They will usually hold the money and wait for resolution of any court action between you and the seller, then if they don’t receive notice of a resolution after a certain time period (120 days for the title company I usually work with) they will return the earnest money to the Buyer.

It's disappointing this thread went dead without a resolution.

In either case resolution of the interests may not be easy.  

Sometime that looks like a "speedy" resolution through the court process as opposed to a year because the DIY approached missed critical deadlines, communication medium or a process unique to the city.
