I knew it was partially in a flood plane however with the engineering reports it’s going to require much more fill dirt than anticipated.It’s going to cost almost as much for the fill/dirty work as the cost of the land (which is probably why the original developer didn’t finish the development)We are home builders but have thought about bringing in other builders as well, just don’t want it to be a hodge podge of different designs.

Once the height is determined you will be able to establish if it is possible to build above the most recent flood plane elevation based on calculations derived from the most recent “10 year flood plane map”.

It surprises me how many potential investors are willing to put up thousands of dollars to purchase properties but can't spare a plane ticket, a rental car and a week's Best Weestern bill getting to know the city they are putting their cash into.
