I have been in the Oil & Retail Connivence industry with Operations for the past 25 years & my wife is an RN who also doubles as Super Mom.

My current job is in the oil field.

They would likely pour the oil into my septic tank which wouldn't be good for it.

Those lists/directions are beaten up, and it's a really small pond to fish in.

And there's no federal mechanism pressuring states to do something specific, like how if a state's drinking age is below 21 then that state will lose federal highway dollars (fun fact: there is ALSO no federal minimum drinking age applicable outside of federally controlled land, just some highway money that forced all the states to "voluntarily" set it at 21 on an individual basis, I believe Texas was the last holdout, possibly due to oil money). 

My coworker already retired down there and the guy is basically just texting me the current temp, pictures of the beach or of him fishing...

My town would probably be the equivalent of a gold mining or oil rush town from the 1800's. 

I had a 90 day job hauling fish waiting for me.

They sustained themselves with nothing but a shack, some fruit trees, and fishing.
