Lots of people are buying up here...people also come up here for Weddings, Yuba River, Wine Tasting, explore gold rush towns, lots of recreation etc... 

The government imposed travel restrictions would have us flying into Manila April 1st and being restricted to staying in Manila for the next 14 days.Even the wedding we were planning to attend has had to be postponed due to the local restrictions on large social gatherings.Its disappointing but understandable given the  situation.

I had my wedding 3 weeks ago so that took a lot of energy.  

I'm here for a wedding until Saturday night and I'd like to scope out some areas.

I plan on buying a STR while I’m down there so I’ll be house hunting in New Orleans so if anyone wants to tag along I’ll be doing that wed.

Most young people make the mistake of getting in the "rat race early" after going to college, buying a brand new car, then trying to move into a fancy house, big fancy weddings, buying expensive furniture and financing everything under sun on credit then they work for someone or some company till their kids graduate college and never save a dime till the day they die.

I've visited only once before, but think there could be a good market here especially for big groups coming for the vineyards (weddings, bachelorettes, etc).Is anyone here familiar with the area?
