If it's an elderly person, offer to put it in a trust and/or carry the payments out longer so they can have cash flow in the nursing home that Medicaid won't look at.

Sometimes, you may even be able to get in with a company that handles the travelling doctors/nurses and they help cycle tenants in and out.Agreed on sunk costs, we do have some extra furniture in our house since we recently moved, that could be used in the Airbnb until we can figure out what all works and improve/upgrade as me move along.

Advent Health just recently took over Florida Hospital and is in the process of improving service and renovating, so coupled with West Marion and Ocala Regional there is a good demand for doctor's and nurses which UF just keeps pumping out every year :) As for manufacturing, E-One (Fire and Emergency equipment) is still a big player in town, Signature Brands has a presence (Betty Crocker).
