More specifically, I think it might be possible to use technology to build a more modern property management company. 

How would you define technology?

Especially with sewer lines the technology has really advanced and by staying on top of the system with regular inspections you may be able to use a technique such as pipe lining before total replacement is necessary.

I would agree that the rental market took a slight hit with the new housing that went up but that also included the removal of mansion park which housed a good amount of students (and I think that will be the future site of new housing - which is directly across main st from landmark) Other than that I know there are plans to expand the engineering building and various other sites at the Technology campus area down 322 eventually.I've heard that the local neighborhoods on the back side of campus and now behind the new boulevard is a hotspot right now - with new food and retail venues going in and being walking distance to everything it seems to be a good target area.

Currently I work as a technology Project Manager full time and have one single family rental property and am partnering with someone in Michigan for our first flip.

Whether it be labor services or Technology installations (that is my current profession). 

While a well structured program can possibly work for some, I believe that most go into one of these programs seduced by the thought that they are “first movers” in the latest advertising technology, and without a sound basis or realistic assessment.And, while MOST of my marketing is “opt in” , I too am guilty of interruptive marketing as I mass email to my 14000 LinkedIn connections without their express permission.

I soured on the real estate business because growing in the 80's technology wasn't around to make our lives easier and trying to figure out drywalling and pluming as an 8 year old by yourself on the weekends was not fun. 

Went to community College then UCM ( University of Central Missouri) for my engineering technology and design degree and thought I would be set for life just working a great job in a great environment.
