I expressed interest some time ago and the timing works out that a previous on site PM is leaving and I'm able to step in and take over.

I'm currently in negotiations with the current landowner to purchase the parcel (he lives out of state and doesn't want to enter a land contract with the mobile home tenants, although he claims they've expressed interest in buying it) and I'd like to know if anyone has any experience leasing/renting land to MH tenants who own their home.

My first overture to the representatives is a targeted introductory letter, expressing a potential intent to purchase the house and asking the representatives to call me back.  

Lastly, with all this fear-mongering said my advice would be to call the seller for sure and express your sincere interest to learn more and aim to answer all the unanswered questions above.
