I've been curious about the counter top refinishing, I've seen on TV, you sand, apply adhesive and then flakes, sand again and its a new counter top.

They attach easily using a small adhesive strip at the top.

That means when, not if, that paint gives up adhesion you're toast. 

We label all of our trash and recycle bins with adhesive lettering, the same as would be used on a mailbox.

They can always thrown down an area rug.I will warn you though, I put the vinyl plank tile that has the adhesive edges in my house that I rented for a couple years, and had it in the bathrooms and kitchen.

Should I have the house inspected to ensure that there is not any residue, smell, mold, etc that may be due to the pot being grown in the basement?
