I very rarely interrupt my own work to get it.The bigger the group of guys, the more runs (when rehabbing, not when doing something like roofing or siding or gutters--those guys shouldn't be doing ANY runs), and it's usually the most junior person who makes them.

Think you can learn most of the CCIM stuff on your own without paying the $10K for a cert.At a brokerage as a junior, you'll learn:1) Where to find deals2) How to price them3) How to talk to people that may not necessarily want to talk to you4) Figure out who to talk to and who not to waste time on5) How to move the ball down the field on a deal you like6) Then all the other office keeping basics7) Most importantly, YOU BUILD YOUR CONTACT LIST OF OWNERS/BUYERS

Get aggressive and call the broker and tell him you want to be part of his team and you have game (like making cold calls, organization, etc).Brokers are almost always willing to take on a junior with some skills and motivation.
