Hello there fellow BiggerPockets members,I am an investor in cryptocurrencies and have not had a normal job for over 5 years.Me and my Fiance are looking to purchase a property that can provide us cashflow.The problem is that I don't have any income verification in the form of W-2's, paystubs etc.What do you think is the best option for some one in my position?

I don't think people openly discuss what they are doing at people's properties as a matter of privacy.

I would recommend looking into cryptocurrency decentralized finance.

If having a little privacy is important, then opt for that basement apartment idea.

I do not need much privacy, so I would love to buy a home on the cheaper end of the spectrum with a few bedrooms, and maybe the ability to add a bedroom or two (houses with advertised "bonus room", etc), and then do a rent by the room model to other individuals.

I would probably prefer a multi-plex over a SFH with roommates mainly because of the privacy, but I understand that that privacy comes at a cost.

I've found many passive investors who use their own entities do so primarily for privacy reasons.
