I would never have fixed that.. its a step plane and simple.. home inspections on older rentals is the bain of the industry.. your just not going to fix every single little issue in a house and keep in mind your tenants are just going to rough it up and you will constantly being fixing little things during the course of ownership..

Also, if you are planing on painting the outside of the house, you have the issue of preparing to avoid over spray (on the house and landscaping) as well as the issue of scaffolding or ladders and doing it safely.The gadgets have their place but saving time when looked at in the entirety is not always what the literature or ads portray.

Nothing big but we bought these properties with 20% down. our cashflow is 200 per house our equity on those houses are around 167k and 222k. we are planing on paying this 2 properties ASAP by doing extra payments because we are afraid of big debts.
