Newbie Investor from Athens, Ga!
Hi all! I'm from Athens, Ga and currently in the beginning stages of real estate investing. Learning as much as I can and getting a business plan together. I plan to begin investing in my local area and I founded Skybound Investments Group LLC to house my investments. I have currently gotten to a place in my career to where I can stock up cash for future deals! In seeing all the difficulties landlords are having with tenants during the pandemic, I am holding off on investing until we see what fall of 2021 entails, but until then I am interested in learning all that I can! I'm looking for mentorship, networking, and education. When safe, I would love to go along with someone into a rehab to learn the ropes, or ride along with an investor examining, placing offer, and closing on a deal. I read real estate books all the time but I'm very much a visual learner! And lastly like so many of you my goals mostly entail financial freedom, early retirement, and the ability to fund my expensive aviation hobby as a private pilot with a few planes.
