I've felt compelled to pursue this contractor that I've got a legal battle going on with and apologize to him and ask for his forgiveness. 

I definitely made some mistakes on this property, I should of had the house treated better to remove the smoke smell, after the reno was complete you can still smell a hint of that smell.

It just always smells like MLM.

The property has carpet in the master bedroom that smells like wet dog.

We both decided that she couldn't come here because the baby might die from the moldy smell that permeates the house.

Now I understand, the reason people chose to smoke on there balcony and not in there own apartment is because they dont want a smoke smell within there living quarters,which I can totally agree.

They were the very first tenants to live in the townhouse after we purchased it and did a complete rehab including new wood flooring (destroyed & scratched), new base boards and trim (chewed & scratched by their dog), new granite counters (stained), new appliances (all dinged & scratched), all new light fixtures (electrical not working & light bulbs removed), newer carpet (horribly stained, smells like cat urine when no cat was approved & torn), new paint (holes kicked through in multiple places), doors have holes kicked through, door handle on sliding door ripped off, etc.

Something doesn't smell right.
