If the cops are called and the tenant gets a disturbing the peace charge, you have some ammunition, but they generally won’t arrest for that without many, complaints.

Remember to have your cell phone handy when he shows up, alone, and have your friend there to take pictures as you shove and swear at him, who does not have a witness, in order to provoke your landlord into reacting violently against you in any way that touches your person so you can call the Police and have him arrested for Battery.

Cops grab him before he leaps and arrest the fella ,he goes off to the psych ward for 3 days and I’m out his rent ( he was fired the next day for not showing up btw) .

They could offer you a deal to move out (no fee for breaking lease etc) or they could non renew the original person once the lease is up.I know some states (like MO) have routes to evict for drugs that don't require arrests... but I'd assume some level of proof is needed (more than  complaint).

Google them.I once found an arrest of an applicant by just doing a Google search.
