A Smart HDTV or Roku in the living room is the furthest extent I go with technology.

Business overhead such as insurance, driving, technology etc. - those are deductible.

Pittsburgh has changed for the better with the influx of technology based businesses hiring more people who are in turn  looking for places to rent.

We found the antidote: intelligent adaptation to existing technology.

A piece of smart technology, a cool kitchen feature, even just a nice master bath accessory.

Not a landscape contractor, I am a technology teacher who also does flips and landlording.  

Nuclear power is inherently safe (I have a back ground in nuclear engineering technology).

Embrace some new technology and don't inconvenience your tenants by making them drive to your bank to pay you rent. 

While I do have silver and gold in units small enough to do small transactions, I think the best bet is to diversify between a myriad of investments.Man has survived for thousands of years as "hunters and gatherer's" and it is only the last 200-300 years, the industrial revolution, that we have become reliant on so much technology.
