I would consider painting trim and doors a contrasting color.

I would hae been satisfied with the sealant that covers the surface and makes everything a uniform black color at no extra charge, which the contractor promied via text and an additional contract. 

Ours rose considerably after Sandy (albeit we did flood significantly). 

Don't hold your breath for a 10 step coloring book, in fact, don't hold your breath at all for the result, it's too long and will probably need to be done as a series.
