Jonna Weber hosts the informal Biggerpockets meetings every quarter also. 

I do manage the property remotely and only come to town to solve a significant problem that is too much to ask of a co-host.

I signed up for one in South Pasadena in mid April by the FIBI group that is hosting Bruce Norris.  

My wife and I listened to your recent interview with choosefi and it was also great...well spoken and good content.You are investing in your freedom, have a book, being interviewed on other's podcasts, and hosting a podcast yourself where you get to learn and build your network with very successful mentors and peers. 

My point is you can't be complacent  in this business.If you don't have prior experience of property management or being a landlord, it is worth working with another (super) host for a short term or long term basis.

I love being a STR host.

I was recently watching a webinar that @Brandon Turner was hosting where he was going over the benefits of using the BP Calculators to quickly analyze deals.

But there is a whole hosts of valid reasons.
