Gov Wolfe of PA issued an order today to shut down all business physical locations that do something other than offer life-sustaining products or services.

In times like these, it's important to speak up and react, and equally important to shut up and respond.

By that I mean I considered which would be LEAST likely to close down/layoff in the event of a partial shut down due to some of these "shelter in place" orders we're seeing in California, and the applicants I ultimately picked both worked in industries that I felt would be least likely to be affected.  

Our MLS also just released a specialized addendum adding flexible closing dates should it be required due to circumstances outside of anyones control (i.e. shutting down recording offices, etc. because of the virus).

In places like CA and NY, things are going to shut down.

Shhhhhhh....Just keep your mouth shut and your head down. 

If my tenants struggle to pay rent during this strange time of public health shelter in place orders, work shut downs, and (in the case of my state) statewide stay at home orders, then the last thing I'm going to try to do is evict them. 

On our now-daily long walk with our dog in Colorado Springs yesterday, we ran into a jewelry shop owner on the sidewalk in downtown who said he was going to shut down.

And I could absolutely see Canada post shutting down some non-essential services if things get worse.
