Time for B/C Landlords to Wake Up and Smell the Corona"s

We are all in this together.....whatever that means.

Many people advocate working with the middle class.  One lady said she will request tenant give her all they have and she will then work it out.  Thats drug dealer technique.  Not humane at all.

Bascially its The USA FEDERAL GOVT against you(the Landlord).  Time to start counting losses.  Time to start with the Peanut Butter N Jelly Sandwiches for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Please explain how amortizing rent will work.   Do your tenants have 15 year leases.  $50 increase is ok.  Missed $4,000 over remaining 8 months is not ok.  They just dont have the money.

@Account Closed  There's so much misinformation going around, and this post is a perfect example.

Trump did not "issue a NO EVICTION order". He temporarily suspended evictions at HUD-owned properties. HUD doesn't own your property, my property, or the property of anyone else posting on here. So if your tenants don't pay rent, it's not because "the USA FEDERAL GOVT is against you".

Some individual cities have enacted eviction moratoriums, but honestly I don't really care about those either.  If my tenants struggle to pay rent during this strange time of public health shelter in place orders, work shut downs, and (in the case of my state) statewide stay at home orders, then the last thing I'm going to try to do is evict them.  I'll work with them to make sure they get to stay in their home, one way or another.
