Good Morning,I am a former Claims Specialist with the Social Security Administration and currently unemployed homeowner who is looking for guidance on how to gain property management experience here in the Central Coast of California.My wife is the only one working at the moment, so times are tough to say the least.We're looking to rent out a portion of our home in order to save up enough money to purchase our second home (or multi-family unit), rent that out, and begin to expand our portfolio. 

There should be some financial advisors or real estate attorneys on here around your area who specializes in hospitality ventures and might provide valuable insights tailored to your situation.

I believe local investors, agents, lenders, property managers, and contractors all have valuable insights, especially for someone brand new to Real Estate like my self.

Yes, I've heard this before and therefore, for the time being, if I get involved in any sub to deals, I'll keep them within the 200k limit (as I can pay this off if push comes to shove).However, I would still like to learn more about sub to, any guidance concerning reading materials would be greatly appreciated. 

If I could move to a more simple software than QBO, it would save me several thousand a year, and the simplicity would be valuable as well.
