This can buy you time to regroup if you still want to sell. 

Also, having food storage and an emergency fund enough to cover 6-12 months can provide you enough time to regroup from many unexpected life changes.

I'm not sure how to find other RE groups.

Spend some time here, on google, at RE groups, and find some agents or brokerages that look interesting to you.  

Our #1 goal for 2018 is to slow down and regroup.

Check some of the other Austin RE groups and meetups.

There are also various RE groups SDRE, NSDRE, SDCIA (I am a member), STRA (I donated before they had membership ($5k) so I think they should make me a member but have not done anything to try to make it happen) among others.  

One hour blocks, ten minute breaks, if you do an hour for lunch, some will try to leave to go somewhere and come in late, keep it to 45 minutes, 10 to chat, 30 to eat and chat and 5, to regroup helps keep everyone there.And I agree some basic info is free, getting into the meat should be at a level of fairness, if too low, it's not preceived as valuable, too much and people won't go there.

Anyway, the focus of this post, however, is to find out if there are any RE groups with which we might connect.Any recommendations?
