My start up costs were $1500, that is all inclusive, from my RE class, finger prints, applications, state exam, joining my local association, MLS dues and the lockbox subscription. 

The Nevada real estate academy has this two and a half week program going on every month so I just jumped in three months later once I finished reading the book to attend the last couple classes and take the necessary exams.The licensing exam at the test center was $100 and the fingerprints for licensing cost $60There will be an application fee and a lot more fees to come which should add up to about $2000 all-in to be licensed for the first year.

You might as well go ahead and get the forms and fill them out, get your passport picture taken and fingerprinting done.  

You will also have to submit your fingerprints for testing.If you want MLS access you will need to join your local REALTORS association.

I think with the courses, exam fees, fingerprint/background check, I paid maybe $500-600 total to get my license.

And the old stairs are pretty steep by todays standards.Mainly though, it's not suitable because kids get crumbs all over, leave fingerprints and spills, track in leaves and dirt, scratch their names into wood, and generally mess the property up.

Next I will do fingerprints and submit the application with the state to become licensed agent :)

When it comes to the IRS, the more fingerprints there are on my trainwreck, the better!

You’ll find that private/hard money lenders are as different as fingerprints.
