My girlfriend is doing her clinicals there for med school, so I'd like to buy a house there for the next 18 months, then rent it out.

Married man, working 9-5  started a clinical research supplies business and completing my MBA.  

Maybe I should just renovate it and rent it out since it is also close to one of their biggest hospitals there (Mayo clinic).

With the room/lavatory set up in each room, could it be leased out as a NNN lease to a MedNOW, CPC, or other urgent care clinics. 

I too spent lots of time and too many dollars on a Doctoral Degree that I no longer use (clinical doctorate in physical therapy-so a whole lot easier than yours:)....Investing can do the trick for you.  

I had the same thing when i was at a Prosthetic Clinic.

This time was once filled by taking ridiculous course loads, but now that I spend more time in clinic, I don't have nearly the after school commitment that I once had.
